Allow me to introduce myself, I am the Tappin Toad, part time entrepreneur, in that, I am one who assumes the financial risk of the initiation, operation, and management of a given business, undertaking or new project in the hope that it will yield a profit.

I am also a full-time employee, thankfully. One, because my part-time entrepreneurial pursuits do not actually make any profit, and two, because it allows me to follow this as a hobby pursuit without too much personal risk, with the goal that one idea may eventually lead to fruition and that I can give up my day job.

But until then, I shall note all my attempts onto this website. I shall be writing all about my own personal attempts at making a profit. And I have tried a lot of different methods, and have come to a lot of conclusions, all being useful I hope.

Why the Site

Now of course if I had managed to make a £million then I would doubt I would be telling anyone else how to do it, because I may want to make more using the same methods. But as most of my articles will be about the trials and tribulations of making money, and that most are not life changing to say the least, then I am most happy to share and pass on the details of those ideas that don't work, and if it saves someone else the pain then why not share the info. I am not on commission for any ideas that I may talk positively about, I know it is very un-entreprenaurial but that is the opinionistic in me, in that my opinions are just that, my own honest opinions.

Sanity Check

So, just a bloke trying to supplement my income, however, any affiliate links on this site will be clearly marked as such, and are mainly for your convenience in locating related information & products as well as helping to fund this site. OK, it's not quite the Motley Fool but hopefully sustainable and worth visiting it. Oh and please read the disclaimer before taking action on any ideas, opinions or information presented here. After all, we are not financial advisors.
